Inspired by the places I visited on my last trip to Japan, of city views and lush greenery and the majestic Mt Fuji. The idea was to take all these little moments that I captured and make a collage out of them. My favourite part is adding small details that stand out to me when i look at the place:

Tokyo, Asakusa this was a random find but i liked how it’s a space that is completely different in the day time and night time. It reminds me of the scene from Ghibli’s Sprited Away. Every thing is pretty much closed and quiet in the day, but when night comes the light in the signages come on, the seats are put out and the people start trinkling in and the space comes alive with the sounds of kanpai and the smell of something delicious being prepared.

Hakone, Lake Ashi i was surprised by how beautiful the view was on the lake cruise. I went sometime in February and the trees looked like they were slowly coming out of Winter, the different colours and shades of the trees on the hills/mountain was beautiful! It was so much more than the usual photos I’ve seen on the internet where its usually very green. The sun was blazing and the water reflects this nice silvery texture, and the super cute duck paddle boats that were for rent, i was in love and i wanted to capture all of that!
